Larry Michael Hood Sr., age 68 of Nauvoo, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 9th, 2022.
Larry will be remembered as a beloved husband, father, grandpa and son. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time hunting & fishing with his family and friends. He was a member of the Jasper Elks Lodge # 2571 and an active participant of “White Trash” Auto Club of Jasper. Every spring, Larry would look forward to taking his 3-Wheeler and VW Bug to car shows thru-out northern Alabama. He won many trophies while being able to help raise donations for their special causes. He did enjoy bringing home his prize possessions and personal creations to show off to all. Larry loved music & playing his guitar. He so enjoyed the old country songs & teaching his grandkids some new funny songs for them to sing along as he played. His first priority was helping family and friends in their need. Larry will forever be remembered for his Southern Loving Nature and being an avid Alabama football fan… “ROLL TIDE”.
