CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2214 will host this year’s county observance of Memorial Day this Saturday, May 28 at 10:00 a.m. in Veterans Park at Sportsman’s Lake. Guest speakers include State Senator Garlan Gudger and Chairman Jeff Clemons. The Holly Pond Lions Club will dedicate a new stone marker and rose garden in honor of the unknown soldier.
The public is encouraged to take time out to come and honor our fallen and bring their kids and grandkids for a lesson on the cost of freedom.
