CCSO makes multiple arrests involving methamphetamine

CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office managed multiple arrests over the weekend with several involving methamphetamine-related charges.

On Wednesday, April 27 Joshua Dustin Donnie Elliot, 37, of Bremen was stopped by CCSO deputies for a traffic violation in the Bremen area. A subsequent search of Elliot and vehicle yielded narcotics and paraphernalia. 

Elliot was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Tuesday, April 26, CCSO deputies conducted a traffic stop in the Dodge City area. Alice Faye Baldwin, 47, of Falkville was a passenger inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded narcotics and paraphernalia.

Baldwin was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of prescription medication.

Also on Tuesday, deputies saw a Hanceville man walking in the Johnson Crossing community. 

A search of Kenneth Author Burks, 21, yielded narcotics and paraphernalia. 

Burks was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana in the second degree.

Finally, CCSO deputies conducted a traffic stop in the Goldridge Community, with Jessica Mae Horton, 37, of Cullman, a passenger inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded narcotics belonging to Horton. 

Horton was arrested and transported to the Cullman County Detention Center. Upon arrival, additional narcotics were located on Horton’s person. Horton was charged with possession of methamphetamine and promoting prison contraband. 

“Our deputies at the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office have been extremely proactive in their work,” Gentry said. “I am proud of the hard work and dedication all of our deputies continue to show.”
