Edna Ophiley Brock, 73, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on April 7, 2022. She was born in Cullman County, Alabama, to Winford Othell and Avillar Helen Hooper Denney, on March 20, 1949.
Before her retirement, Mrs. Brock worked as both a truck driver and a seamstress. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and flea markets. Edna loved her family, and her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were a source of joy to her. Edna was loved and she will be missed greatly.
Mrs. Brock is preceded in death by her parents; daughter: Wanda Strong; brother: William Denney and sister: Laura Daniel.
She is survived by her husband: Monroe Brock; sons: Robert Strong (Shelly) and Douglas Strong (Pam); daughter: Regina Hood; brother: Michael Denny (Charlotte); sisters: Sarah Holcomb (Alfred), Linda Duskin (Eugene) and Lisa Compton (Pat); sister-in-law: Paulette Denney; brother-in-law: Javon Daniel; grandchildren: Zackery Strong (Kayla Rogers), Courtney Ozier (Justin), Chaselyn Glasscock (J.T.), Bailey Strong, Justin Strong and Emily Strong; great-grandchildren: Elija Strong, Molly Ozier, Luella Ozier, Nolan Ozier, Ryley Rogers and Ryan Rogers and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Edna are 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 11, 2022, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. David Chambers officiating. Burial will follow in Simcoe Church Cemetery, where Zackery Strong, Justin Ozier, J.T. Glasscock, Bailey Strong, Justin Strong and Paul Duskin will serve as pallbearers. Friends are invited to visit with the family, at the funeral home, on Sunday evening, April 10, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
