Funeral service for Joseph Alvin Byrd, 84, of Cullman will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2022 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Etha Cemetery, Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Monday.

Mr. Byrd passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 at his residence. He was born June 24, 1937 to Leonard D. and Margaret Lettie Thompson Byrd. He loved bluegrass music and attending music festivals. He loved to grow vegetables and sell them at Festhalle Market. He was definitely a people person.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Edna Byrd; sister: Ilene Julian and son-in-law: Keith Crumbley.
Survivors include his daughters: Deborah Crumbley and Melissa (Phil) Earp; brother: Jerold Byrd; sisters: Jean (David) Bagdasarian and Mary Estes; grandchildren: Matthew Crumbley, Cody (Jessica) Woodall and Connor Earp; great-grandchild: Gavin Woodall and family and friends.
