Bennett Wilmore McNutt, 82, of Haleyville, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Helen Keller Hospital.
Wilmore was born on March 8, 1940 in Russellville, Alabama. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church #2 in Haleyville.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist Church #2 Cemetery. Brother Joe Spiller will officiate.
Wilmore is survived by his daughters: Amanda McNutt and Misty McNutt; three grandsons: Dustin (Selena) Benefield, Hunter Jordan and Case Jordan; three great-grandchildren: Hayden, Knox and Naomi Benefield; sister: Carolyn Cochran and aunt: Virginia Burleson.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Oscar and Lucille McNutt.
