Obituary: Lillian Frances Tidwell

Lillian Frances Tidwell, 82, of Nauvoo, entered into rest on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Lakeland Community Hospital.

Lillian was born on June 3, 1939 in Jasper, Alabama. She was a long-time member of Ashbank Freewill Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family.  She also loved planting flowers in her yard and doing crossword puzzles. Her favorite thing of all time was spending time with her dog, who was her baby, Jackson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Ashbank Church, where services will be at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Brothers Jeremy Glenn and Shawn Blanton will officiate.

Lillian is survived by her daughters: Sandra Thomas and her husband Perry and Denise Brannon; son: Jeff Tidwell and his wife Anita; granddaughters: Tasha Thomas, Meka Thomas, Jessica Hulsey and her husband Bradley, Katie Tidwell, Charity Wright and her husband Dannon and Felicia Moody; grandson: Dylan Tidwell; great-grandsons: Morgan and Riley Hulsey and Nick Moody; great-granddaughters: Madeline Moody and Ashley Wright; special friends: Barbara, James Boren and Cindy Lamb and her husband Mike and sisters: Faye Colburn and Irene Robertson.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years: Cecil Tidwell; parents: Noah and Willie Mae Butram; sister: Evelyn Burton; nephew: John Herring and son: Dennis Brannon.
