Patrick Weston Drake, 39, passed away on March 2nd, 2022, at Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, Alabama. Patrick was born on June 10th, 1982, in Cullman, Alabama to Randy and Cherri Drake.
Patrick is survived by his wife: Hollie Drake; four children; Lillie Smith, River Smith, Charlotte Drake and Crosby Drake; parents; Randy and Cherri Drake; two brothers: Steven Drake and Randall (Caprice) Drake and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Hansel and Lottie Drake, and Bert and Berta Mae McGriff.
It is hard to put into words what Patrick meant to his family and friends. Patrick displayed his deep love for his wife, children and family through intentionality and spontaneity.
At a young age, Patrick developed a passion for the game of golf from time spent with his late grandfather, Bert McGriff. From toddler to adult, you could always find him on the golf course.
Patrick embraced an idealistic and entrepreneur spirit. He was always thinking out of the box and constantly pursing his dreams and ambitions. From the creation of Blackwolfe Insurance Group, Blackwolfe Athletica, 4 Arrows Fitness and his partnership in Around the Clock Doc, he became an inspiration and backbone to the community he loved.
Patrick’s celebration of life service will be held Saturday, March 5 at Desperation Church. The family will be greeting friends from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with the service starting at 11:00 a.m.
