HANCEVILLE, Ala. – Pop’s Café is the newest restaurant in Hanceville, opened in place of the old Huddle House. Pop’s Cafe’s owners are brother and sister Craig and Cathy Parker. Craig operates the Hanceville location and Cathy operates another Hillsboro location. The Hanceville location has been open since December 27, serving breakfast and lunch. The cafe held a ribbon cutting and grand opening Wednesday, March 2 with Mayor Kenneth Nail and the Hanceville town council attending, to celebrate the completion of their building and signs.

Craig Parker stated, “We appreciate everything you have done for us, and we’re glad to be here. We’ve got a lot of good things coming.”

The restaurant is open Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. They are currently on the lookout for new employees and plan to open for dinner as soon as they gather enough staff.
