George Edgar Milligan, age 80, of Haleyville, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Haleyville, where the service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Winston Memorial Cemetery in Haleyville.
George was survived by his wife: Julia Hamby Milligan; sons: Paul Milligan and Stephen Milligan (LaRay); daughter: Paula Martin (Dencil); seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Richard Edgar Milligan and Louise Morrell Milligan Williams and and sister: Glinda Clemmons.
