The funeral service for Cheryl Jada Lee, 71, of Vinemont, will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Sardis Baptist Church #2 in Addison, AL. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Bro. Joey Smithson, Bro. William McClellan and Bro. Benjamin Smothers will officiate the service. The interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Mrs. Lee passed from this life on February 18, 2022, at her residence. She was born February 26, 1951 to Marvis Eugene and Vernell Freeman Lott. Mrs. Lee was a faithful, loving wife, mother and grandmother who pointed her family and others to Jesus. She was a devoted member of Sardis Baptist Church #2.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Marvis Eugene and Vernell Freeman Lott.
Mrs. Lee is survived by her husband of 53 years: James “Smiley” Lee; three sons: Robbie (Amanda) Lee, Chad Lee and Daniel (Melanie) Lee; daughter: Jada (Benjamin) Smothers; two brothers: Chris (Donna) Lott and Jeff Lott; grandchildren: Chloe Lee, Gracie Lee, Titus Smothers, Abby Lee, Matthew Lee, Maylie Grace Smothers, Ella Lee, Jude Smothers, Ivy Lee, Karis Smothers and Lydia Smothers and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers are Larry Lee, Ricky Lee, Mike Lee, Chance Lott, Dennis Hale and Gary Lee.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donation be made to the Gideons International.
