Halle McCrory named 2022 Wallace State Homecoming Queen

HANCEVILLE, Ala. – Halle McCrory was named Wallace State Community College’s 2022 Homecoming Queen during the annual festivities Wednesday night. She was crowned at halftime of the men’s basketball game vs. Southern Union.

 McCrory, a general studies major from Muscle Shoals, is a member of the Wallace State women’s tennis team and was voted as the queen by her peers through online voting. A record number of candidates applied for the Homecoming Court and a record number of votes were cast. McCrory is the college’s Phi Theta Kappa secretary, the SGA Parliamentarian and a member of Mu Alpha Theta. She was escorted by Ben Fennel and was crowned by Wallace State President Dr. Vicki Karolewics.

Remaining members of the Homecoming Court were Sarah Jacobs, a general studies major from Valley, Bailey Grant, a general studies major from Hayden, Karina Faulkner, a general studies major from Holly Pond and Emily Roper, a Salon and Spa Management major and dual enrollment student at Mortimer Jordan.
