Elwanda Armstrong Houston, age 90, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022. Elwanda was born May 28, 1931 in Ft Payne, Alabama to Thomas H. and Geneva Richey Armstrong.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Bill Houston; son: Michael Houston; sisters: Imogene Godwin and Jimmie Armstrong; brother: Ray Armstrong and her parents.
Funeral services are Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church with Dr. Roger White officiating. Interment will follow services in Cullman City Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church Sunday from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Survivors are son: William David (Linda) Houston; sisters: Lila Bailey and Equilla Hulgan; sister-in-law: Louise Armstrong; grandchildren: Philip Houston, Jeremy Houston, Kevin Houston, Dax Houston, Kristy Houston and 10 great-grandchildren.
