DECATUR, Ala. – A local man was arrested on a drug trafficking warrant on Valentine’s Day after being located at the Morgan County Jail.
According to CPD Public Relations Officer Adam Clark, Blain R. Speakman, 30, of Vinemont, was arrested on a warrant from May of 2021 for drug trafficking of methamphetamine.
Clark said they recovered 2.25 kilos (4.96 pounds) of meth from Speakman.
“The street value for 2.25 kilos of meth is around $110,000,” Clark said. “He was arrested at Morgan County Jail and brought to the Cullman County Detention Center on the trafficking charge. We would like to congratulate the officers on a job well done.”
