CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman County Sheriff’s deputies made multiple arrests county wide concerning narcotics over the first week of February.
On Tuesday, Feb 1, Cullman County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a trespassing call in the Vinemont area. After some investigation, Rebecca Lynn Tanner, 53, of Falkville, was located at the residence, and was found to be in possession of drugs.
She was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
On Wednesday, Feb 2, CCSO Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the Baileyton area for a traffic violation.
David Joshua Durham, 45, of Arab, was the driver.
It was determined that Durham had two active warrants and was arrested. Inside the vehicle, drugs and paraphernalia were also found.
Durham was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of dangerous drugs (warrant) and possession of drug paraphernalia (warrant).
Also on Wednesday, Samuel Joseph Hook, 32, of Cullman was arrested on multiple warrants and Grand Jury Indictments.
He was charged with possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, impersonating a police officer (GJ) and promoting prison contraband (GJ).
Cullman County Sheriff’s Office Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the Holly Pond area for a traffic violation on Wednesday.
Ricky Wayne Thomas, 60, of Holly Pond was the driver. Consent to search the vehicle was given by Thomas. Drugs were located inside the vehicle.
He was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
“I am proud of the deputies here at the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office for their hard work and determination. We will continue to do everything we can to battle this problem and protect the citizens here in Cullman County,” said Sheriff Matt Gentry.
