Rowena F. Lane, 93, of Arley, passed away February 2, 2022 at Pine Place Assisted living
She was born March 2, 1928 to Harold Folsom and Winnfred Merrill in Monmouth, ME.
Visitation will be held Friday February 4, 2022 from 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., where services will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Meek Baptist Church. Brother Etsel Riddle will officiate. Burial will be at Meek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Lane was a longtime member of Meek Baptist Church; she was helpful to others and very community minded. She was a very loving person and will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Lane is survived by two sons: Kerry Lane (Carol) of Deland, FL and Dana Lane of Arley; three grandsons: Robert Lane (Misty) of Arley, David Lane (Donna) of Cordova and Brian Lane of Durham, NC; two granddaughters: Lisa Otten (David) of Homestead, FL and Heather Lane of Homestead; three great-grandsons; four great-granddaughters; two brothers: Leroy Folsom (Mary) of East Boston and Laurence Folsom of Monmouth, ME; two sisters: Rebecca Ferguson (John) of St. Petersburg, FL and Karen Mitchell (Walter) of Fayette, ME and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Pete Lane; daughters-in-law; Linda and Kathy Lane; three brothers and two sisters.
