Bobby was born on July 2, 1953 in New Albany, Mississippi.

Bobby is survived by his daughter: Jennifer Cleghorn and her husband Robert; son: Bobby Wilmoth II and his wife Shay; grandchildren: Dalton Wilmoth, Christina Wilmoth, Brooke, Blake and Belle Cleghorn, Gabe Jones, and Myrah and Carson Davenport and brothers: Ricky Wilmoth, Danny Wilmoth and Norman Wilmoth and his wife Twila.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Judy Wilmoth; parents: Evelyn and Robert Henry Wilmoth; sister: Dorothy McNutt and brother: Robert Wilmoth, Jr.
