Funeral services for Kay Swann, age 74, of Arkadelphia will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Arkadelphia Cemetery. Bro. Harce Swann officiating.
Kay was born on August 28, 1947 in Cullman to Bernard and Thelma Speegle. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Bertie R. Swann; her son: Keith Swann; her daughter: Kathy Williams; her brother: Harold Speegle and her sister: Helen Talley.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law: Melanie Swann; her son-in-law: Jimmy Williams and three grandsons: Clancey Williams, Wyatt (Madison) Swann and Will Swann.
Kay was a loving mother, Mawmaw and an amazing friend to many. She has always been there for people when they needed her most, and in turn, people have always been there for her when she needed them most. Kay loved everyone and prayed for everyone, especially her grandsons. They were her whole world before and after Kathy and Keith passed away. Kay was a one-of-a-kind mother-in-law who treated Jim and Melanie like her own kids. There will never be another one like her and she will be missed by many, but now she is walking with Jesus and her family who have gone on before her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Kay to Arkadelphia Cemetery or to your favorite church or charity.
