Bobby “Baby Doll” Darnell, age 79 of Addison, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 at Heritage Health Care and Rehabilitation in Tuscaloosa.
He was born September 18, 1942 to Tom and Ezella Darnell.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where the service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Addison. Bishop Kip Box will officiate.
Bobby is survived by his daughter: Lisa (Joey) Colburn; son: Rodney (Samanda) Darnell; grandchildren: Amber (Jeff) Walker, Candace Robbins, Alexis Darnell and Abbey Darnell; one great-grandson: Gunner Ross Walker; brother: Oran “Dob” Darnell and sister: Betty Perry.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Tom and Ezella Darnell; sister: Pauline Darnell; brother: Buddy Darnell; sisters-in-law: Janie Darnell and Judy Darnell and brother-in-law: Glenn Perry.
The family would like to extend special thanks and appreciation to Dr. John Miller of Tuscaloosa, the staff at Heritage Health Care and Rehabilitation and Hospice of West Alabama for the care they have shown during this transition.
