Brody Charles Walker Massey, 15, of Double Springs, entered into rest on Friday, December 31, 2021 at his home.
Brody was born on March 6, 2006 in Jasper, Alabama. He was a 9th grader at Winston County High School, where he played on the Jr. and Varsity football team. He loved to hunt, fish, play golf, work on trucks or anything to do outside. He attended First Baptist Church Double Springs with his friends.
Visitation will be held on January 6, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Double Springs, where services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Justin Guin and Coach Jeff Cole. Burial will be in Poplar Springs Cemetery in the Poplar Springs Community.
Brody is survived by his father: Ricky Massey and his wife Trinity; siblings: Ashley Gable and her husband Bobby, Jarred Massey, Keeley Adams, Kody Livingston and Chelsey Massey; nephews and nieces: Kolton Gable, Emily Gable, Brentlee Massey and Anslee Massey and aunt: Vickey Rowe.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Janell Farley Massey; grandparents: Billy Ray and Caroline Massey and Caroline Farley and uncle: Chesley Clark.
