The family will welcome guests for a visitation on Friday prior to the service at Hopewell Baptist Church beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Mrs. Miller was born on June 13, 1950 to Beaman Gipson and Marcella (Thomas) Medlock. She died at the age of 71 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham on December 1, 2021.
Sandy was energetic and full of life. She loved spending time with family and friends. People were always drawn to her beautiful personality. Sandy, along with her husband, spent many years playing the role of Mr. and Mrs. Claus which eventually turned into a ministry for the both of them. She absolutely adored spending time with the children she met over the years and was happy to see them return year after year to pay her a visit. She also worked many years at Wal Mart Distribution Center in Cullman. The people she worked with were more than just co-workers; they were treated as if they were her own. There is no doubting her faith. Sandy was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, a devoted Christian and warrior of God. From day to day, she selflessly strived to spread love and happiness for all in need. Although she is no longer here with us physically; she will remain in our hearts forever.
Survivors include her husband: Carter Miller; son: Jim (Jenn) Miller; several grandchildren; brother: Mike (Debbie) Medlock; a host of nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and family at Wal-Mart Distribution Center.
