Melissa Diane Gothard, of Holly Pond, Alabama, peacefully entered the arms of her Heavenly Father on the morning of November 26, 2021, at the age of 53. She was born in Jefferson County, Alabama, on April 5, 1968, to Hollis Eugene and Carole Gantt Gothard.
Melissa enjoyed traveling, puzzles of all kinds and she was an Alabama fan. Golden Retrievers, bunnies and bears all made Melissa happy, and her children brought her great joy. She enjoyed any time spent with her babies, and she was proud of the adults that they had become.
Melissa is preceded in death in by parents and her brother: Tim Gothard.
Survivors include her significant other: Glenn Williams; son: Josh Gothard; daughter: Emily Gothard (special friend, Gary Borck) and a host of friends and family.
Donations may be made directly to the funeral home in Melissa’s memory to help with her funeral expenses.
