Paul Alton Dockery, 72, of Haleyville, entered into rest on Monday, November 22, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Paul was born on February 14, 1949 in Winfield, Alabama. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a wonderful husband, father and PawPaw. Paul loved playing pool.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Winfield, Alabama. Pastor Greg Webb will officiate.
Paul is survived by his wife of 22 years: Patricia Dockery; children: Dana Gilbert and her husband BJ, Shirley Robbins and her husband Neal, Sharon Ford and her husband Mark Sr., Jaybrina Martinez and her husband Ruben and Scott Salter and his wife Debbie; brothers: Ray Dockery and his wife Debbie, and JR Dockery; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father: Joe Dockery; mother: Irene O’Mary Shirey; stepfather: Raymond Shirey and brother: Billy Dockery.
