DECATUR, Ala. – Bank Street Players have announced their return to the Princess Theatre Stage with latest production of, “Humbug! A Christmas Carol.” After a long 18-month absence during the pandemic, the lights will illuminate the stage once more as one of Decatur’s favorite holiday traditions resumes.
A recent press release reads, “Humbug!’ is the musical retelling of Charles Dicken’s famous story and is the perfect way to usher in the holiday season.”
‘Humbug! A Christmas Carol’ is written and composed by local playwriter Chuck Puckett, a graduate of Cullman High School, and directed by Carol Puckett and Kim Yarbrough, with the production’s musical direction by Gary McKenzie.
This musical rendition of the well-known classic has delighted hundreds of theatregoers throughout the past four years, and the cast is hopeful to do the same this December. T
Performances of “Humbug! A Christmas Carol” on the Princess Theatre Stage are scheduled for:
Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 7:00 p.m.
Friday, December 3, 2021, at 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
