CULLMAN, Ala. – Mrs. Jennifer Grey’s second grade class has been making the rounds of city and county offices in Cullman recently. After meeting Sheriff Matt Gentry at the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office, the group visited Cullman Mayor Woody Jacob’s Office in City Hall to learn about the functions of the governing body of the local community.
“The enthusiastic students were all ready to run for the office of ‘Mayor’ in the next election,” said Sacred Heart representative Barbara Ragsdale. “Who knows, maybe in about 20 years?”
