HANCEVILLE, Ala. – The 5th Annual Civitan Tinsel Trail will be held in Veterans Park in Hanceville from Nov. 19 – Jan. 2, 2022. The park will be hosting a Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 19, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. Downtown Merchants will be open for business during the ceremony. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served in front of the library during the event.
Exhibits will be displayed from Nov. 19 – Jan. 2. Placement times will be Monday, Nov. 15– Friday, Nov. 19. Those placed on November 19 must be ready by 3:00 p.m. Applications for exhibits should be turned in before November 15 to allow time for sign printing.
The park requests that exhibits are removed by January 5, 2022, or the city will dispose of them. Locations for exhibits will be assigned on a first-come first-serve basis in order applications and donations are received. Sites will have electricity; however, extension cords must be furnished by the exhibitor. The spaces will be given an assigned number, with an area of 10 ft. by 10 ft.
Checks for $25 donation should be made to Civitan Scholarship. Application and checks may be turned in to Kim Reburn Hanceville City Hall or mailed to Patty Dean, 504 Forest Dr. NW, Hanceville, AL 35077.
