REFORM, Ala. – After hammering Lynn on the road 46-15 last week, the Meek Tigers were back on the road for another region contest Friday night. They couldn’t get the result they were looking for this time though as they fell behind early and ultimately couldn’t keep pace with Pickens County, falling 22-6.

The Tornadoes struck first and built an early lead in the opening quarter that they built up to 22-0 by the halftime break. The Tigers kept Pickens County out of the end zone in the third quarter and were able to put six points on the board in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough to come from behind and knock off the Tornadoes on their home field.

Meek drops to 5-3 on the season with the loss and will be back home next week for another regional showdown against Berry.
