HANCEVILLE, Ala. – The Hanceville Bulldogs returned to Ray Talley Stadium for another regional matchup Friday night, and they were there to take on the Bulldogs of Ashville. Hanceville fell behind in the first half, could never find a rhythm on offense and fell to the Bulldogs at home 42-0.
Ashville found the end zone in the opening period to take a 7-0 lead but that was all the Hanceville defense would allow in the first quarter. However, Ashville was able to put two more scores on the board in the second quarter and went into the halftime break leading Hanceville 21-0.
The Bulldogs added to their lead with another touchdown in the third quarter, making it a 28-0 game going into the final frame and tacked on two more scores in the final frame to defeat Hanceville 42-0 and pick up a region win.
Hanceville falls to 2-6 with the loss and will be back on the road next week for a non-region game against Section.
