CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday arrested a Louisiana man for sexual abuse of a child under 12.
Dewitt Cecil Bobbit, 65, of Alexander, LA, was arrested at the Cullman County Detention Center.
He was arrested for a warrant stemming from an incident in September of this year.
He was charged with sexual abuse of a child less than 12.
The incident occurred when Bobbit was staying with friends in Cullman County last month.
Bobbit remains incarcerated in the Cullman County Detention Center.
