Multiple local people arrested on drug charges over last week

CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office announced multiple arrests involving methamphetamine over the last few days. 

Sheriff Matt Gentry said he’s continually proud of the efforts by deputies in getting drugs off the streets. 

On Monday, October 11, Howard Scott Riddle, 45, of Cullman, was arrested on drug charges. 

He was stopped for a traffic violation in the Good Hope area. 

A “free air sniff” of the exterior of the vehicle caused the K9 team to alert deputies of the vehicle. 

A probable cause search of the vehicle followed. Meth and paraphernalia were located inside the vehicle. Riddle was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Sunday, October 10, Jeffery Leavon Brock, 54, of Cullman, was stopped for a traffic violation in the Duck River community. 

Consent to search was given. Methamphetamine was found in his vehicle. 

He was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine.

Also on Sunday, October 10, Leanda Lechele Quick, 35, of Cullman, was stopped for a traffic violation in the Good Hope area. 

Probable cause was established and resulted in a search of the vehicle. Meth, marijuana and paraphernalia were located inside the vehicle.
