Funeral services for Margie Ann Johnson Pruitt, 78, of Holly Pond, who died Monday, October 11, 2021, will be held Thursday, October 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Cullman First Church of the Nazarene. Reverend Micah Sturm will officiate. Visitation will be on Thursday beginning at 12:00 p.m. with the service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held afterwards at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery in Holly Pond.
Margie retired from Pruitt and Son Furniture and then spent 19 years working at Wal-Mart. She was an active member of the Cullman First Church of the Nazarene before becoming a charter member of Fairview Church of the Nazarene. She was a member of the Credit Women’s Association. She was most happy when she was in church or having large family get togethers.
She is survived by her husband: Byron; daughters: Treila Michele Pruitt (Andy) Wilson and Tonya Anne Pruitt (Allen) Gracey; four grandchildren: Katie (Nick) Dixon, Hannah (Alan) Castle, Olivia and Cameron; one great-granddaughter: Ensley-Kate and three sisters: Wynelle Isbell, Sandra Pearson-Perry and Diane Sharpton.
