Elvie Eugene Hollis, 83, of Double Springs left for his heavenly home on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Shadescrest Healthcare Center.
Mr. Hollis was born March 13, 1938 in Pontotoc County, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where the service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Reverends Aaron Gann and Samuel Parker will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Double Springs.
He is survived by his wife: Yvonne Hollis; sons: Darryl (Loretta) Hollis and David (Bridget) Hollis; granddaughters: Kayla, Ashlyn and Kortney; great-grandchildren: Ryan, Gracelyn, Brooklyn, Kale and Bryant and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Ester Louise Tiller; infant baby: Hollis and granddaughter: Felecia Michelle.
