Monica “Boo Boo” Martello, age 31, of Haleyville, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, at North Alabama Medical Center.
Monica was born on November 2, 1989 in Birmingham, Alabama. She was a member of The Order of Confederate Rose.
Visitation will be Friday, October 8, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Jerry Smith will officiate.
Monica is survived by her parents: Bobby and Kathy Martello; sisters: Ashley (Michael) Johnson and Samantha (Matthew) Wise; nieces and nephews: Alexis Johnson, Eathan Johnson, Abigail Johnson, Sebastian Wise and Mira Rose Wise; grandmother: Connie Berry; uncles: Daniel Berry, Tom (Connie) Martello, Tony (Debbie) Martello, Jimmy Martello and Benji (Jennifer) Martello; aunts: Brenda (James) Moody, Trica (Danny Martin) Mann, Mae (John) Gandy, Shirley (Robert) Wakefield and Charity Cordray and a host of cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Sam and Lynda Martello, and Ray Berry; aunt: Jean Hyde and uncle: Samuel Berry.
