Eunice Guthrie, 103, of Addison, Alabama entered into rest on October 02, 2021 at Hendrix Health Care in Double Springs.
Mrs. Guthrie was born on June 2, 1918 to Jim and Sarah Pratt. She was the youngest of five brothers and five sisters. She was saved and baptized at the age of 35 and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Addison for 68 years. She enjoyed gardening flowers and definitely had a green thumb. She was married to Bennie Guthrie for 43 years when he passed away.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Brother Robert Partridge will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Addison, Alabama.
Eunice is survived by her daughter: Sue (Robert) Partridge; granddaughters: Rena (Ricky) Roberts, Michelle (Brent) Robertson and Miranda Partridge; and great grandchildren: Alayna Darty, Hannah Robertson, Alexa Darty and Kadey Robertson.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Bennie Guthrie; parents: Jim and Sarah Pratt; five brothers and five sisters.
