A graveside funeral service for Mr. Jerry D. Fowler, 86, of Crane Hill who died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021 will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 5 at Hopewell Cemetery. Bro Kent Persall will officiate, with Hanceville Funeral Home directing.
Jerry was a lifelong resident of the Cullman County area and Air Force veteran. He made his career as a grocer working for the A&P and Winn Dixie companies.
He is survived by his wife: Myra; son and daughter-in-law: Tim and Diana Fowler; grandchildren: Ashleigh (Harris) Crumbley, Chasity (Ben) Schroeder and Staci Deavers and great-grandchildren: Jesse Cross Crumbley and Maddie Deavers. He was preceded in death by his parents: Aubrey and Vessie Gamble Fowler as well as his grandparents: Albert Henry and Sarah Carr Fowler, and Joe and Annie Gamble.
