A graveside service for Edna Earle Hicks will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Duck River Cemetery in Hanceville. Reverend Gary Waddell will be officiating.
Mrs. Hicks was born on October 30, 1930 to William and Lorene (Phillips) Holcombe in Cullman County, Alabama. She died at the age of 90 on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Hanceville Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Hicks is survived by her children: Terry Keith Hicks (Janice), William K Hicks (Joan), Gary Wayne Hicks (Cecila) and Phillip Hicks (Charlotte); grandchildren: Brandon Hicks, Josh Hicks, Elizabeth Hicks Taylor (Chad), Lidnsey Burks (Matthew), Carrie Rusell (Jeremy), Cathy Hicks, Sara Black, Laurel Waddle and Scott Hicks (Leslie); 11 great-grandchildren and a sister: Wanda Jean Hodge.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hicks was also preceded in death by her husband: Clyde Hicks and grandchild: Sam Hicks.
