Funeral service for Sue Schnittker, 72, of Cullman, will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Malcolm Carter, II and Rev. Charles Dixon will officiate the service. The interment will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Mrs. Schnittker passed from this life on September 19, 2021 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born December 14, 1948 to Dolphus and Mable Clara Speegle Self. She attended Temple Baptist Church. She loved her family, her friends, taking care of her birds, reading and sitting on her front porch.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Dolphus and Mable Clara Speegle Self; daughter: Rhonda Jacobs; sisters: Genova Pace and Ella Mae Needham; brother-in-law: Randy Schnittker and granddaughter: Olivia Brooklyn Schnittker.
Mrs. Schnittker is survived by her husband of 58 years: Edward Schnittker; sons: Phillip (Shanna) Schnittker and Kevin (Lori) Schnittker; son-in-law: Ralph Jacobs; sister-in-law: Geraldine (Bill) Lennon; sisters: Diane (Eulane) Calvert and Marie White; grandchildren: Veronica (Austin) Strottlemyer, Haley Jacobs, Joseph Jacobs, Paige Schnittker, Logan Schnittker, Lane Schnittker, Alan Schnittker and Liam Schnittker; step-grandchildren: Dylan (Payton) Smith, Dawson (Kyndall) Smith, John-Connor Smith, Dillon and Ezzi; step-great-grandchildren: Blaize, Gunner, Kynzlee and Jett.
