Funeral service for Betty Lorene Jones, 78, of Cullman will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 17, 2021 at Salem Baptist Church with interment in Springhill Baptist Cemetery, with Rev. Cory Drummond officiating. The body will lie in state at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be Thursday evening at Salem Baptist Church from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Jones passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021. She was born October 30, 1942 to Newman and Lizzie Russell Scott. She was a long-time member of Salem Baptist Church. She loved working in her flowers and loved her grandchildren, family and friends so much.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant baby and her sister: Eunice Turner.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years: Doys Jones; son: Shannon (Lorie) Jones; daughter: Bridgett (Tim) McKoy; brothers: Jerry (Shirley) Scott, Roy (Kay) Scott and Early Scott; grandchildren: Hayden Jones and Griffin Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
