Darryl Edward Washam, 61, of Logan, Alabama entered into rest on September 11, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Washam was born on May 13, 1960 in Detroit, Michigan. He was very proud of his military service with the US Army. Darryl loved all of his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help others.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in White Oak Cemetery in Logan, Alabama.
Darryl is survived by six siblings: David (Patty) Morgan, Danny Washam, Sandra (Jimbo) Young, Tammy (Reno) Wessler, Ronald (Evelyn) Wilson and Marilyn Roy and a niece/caregiver: Stephanie (Benji) Barbee.
He was preceded in death by his father: Eddie Washam; his mother: Jean (Bobby) Lindsey; his first stepfather: Calvin Wilson; two siblings: Judy Dunn and Billy Wilson; a niece: Beth Morgan and a brother-in-law: Larry Roy.
