Graveside service for Laura Eva Powell Lansford, 94, of Hanceville will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 10, 2021 at Cullman Memory Gardens with Rev. Michael L. Lansford, Sr. officiating. Family visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Please wear a mask.

Mrs. Lansford passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Hanceville Nursing Home & Rehab. She was born October 26, 1926, to Mossie and Clara Powell. She was a member of Hunter Street Baptist Church and was a godly woman who loved her family. She enjoyed sewing, reading, playing the piano and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Ernest L.Lansford, Sr.; sisters: Lallage Bentley and Katie Lou Smith and a brother: Leon Powell.
Survivors include her sons: Ernest L. Lansford, Jr. (Jennifer) and Michael L. Lansford, Sr. (Debbie); grandchildren: Ernie Lansford III, Christie Wactcher (Eric), Michael L. Lansford, Jr. (Theresa) and Wendy Lansford Baker (Tim); several great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Michael Lansford, Jr., Timothy Baker, Brian Pierce, Joel Lovett and Bobby Bentley.
