An American Legion Auxiliary as organized here on Sunday afternoon. Officers elected were: Mrs. Herman J. Stewart, president; Mrs. William Bellar, first vice-president; Mrs. George Henry Young, second vice-president; Mrs. Aloy Imbusch, secretary-treasurer; Mrs. J.E. Marion, historian; Mrs. H.M. Windsor, chaplain and Mrs. Herman McCalman, sergeant-at-arms.

Carl Peinhardt, captain of the Cullman High football team, broke his leg, at team practice, Wednesday afternoon.

Ludie House, 23, son of Reverend and Mrs. W.O. House, was killed in an automobile accident in Akron, Ohio and funeral services were held at Holly Pond on Thursday.

Clarence Sharpton is now a student a Berea College, in Kentucky.

Professor and Mrs. R.E. Moore are building a beautiful new home, in South Park.

Both the ladies of St. John’s Church and Christ English Church will serve Thanksgiving dinners, this year.
