CULLMAN, Ala. – The Golden Apron Cook Off Competition, sponsored by Werner’s Trading Company, is just around the corner! We hope to see everyone Sept. 18 for this exciting cookoff competition. We are happy to announce our judges for the event will be Mrs. Nell Dunlap, Mr. Josh Wiggins and Senator Garlan Gudger. The theme for the competition this year is “Tailgate” and there are three rounds competitive cooks can compete in: appetizer, main dish and dessert. Winners for each category will receive cash and prizes, and the People’s Choice winner will earn the Golden Apron. This event is family friendly with a playground, arts and crafts area and bounce houses for the kids to enjoy.
