Good Samaritan Health Clinic to host free outdoor event

CULLMAN, Ala. – Good Samaritan Health Clinic will be hosting its first Community Cares Celebration at the Cullman Housing Authority on Cleveland Avenue Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. There will be free food, door prizes, COVID vaccines, health screenings, activities for kids and so much more. 

This event will be family friendly, featuring loads of fun activities for kids of all ages such as music, face painting, cornhole and balloons, just to name a few.

The Community Cares Celebration has been true to its name, gaining sponsors from across Cullman to host this event for the community. Lunch will be provided by the Cullman Police Department, with door prizes sponsored by Cullman Savings Bank. A special presentation will also be held by “Truth In Nature,” a local outdoor ministry and women’s outreach program.

Health screenings will also be provided by Good Samaritan, along with flu shots provided by Borden Pharmacy, COVID vaccinations provided by EconoMed (limited availability), healthy recipes and samples provided by the Cullman County Extension Office and outdoor activities provided by the North Alabama Agriplex.
