A funeral service for Wanda Gay Mays, 64, of Cullman will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2021 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Rice’s Chapel Cemetery in Bremen. Rev. Jared Jackson will officiate. A time of visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Sunday, August 29, 2021.
She is survived by her husband: James Mays; daughters: Tara (Eric) Twilley, Sandy (Jonathan) Brinson, Jennifer (Isaac) Smith and Chris McClure (father of Jennifer Smith’s children); Britney (Spencer) Crawford and Diane (Terry) Rape; sister: Lisa Alexander; nine grandsons; eight granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; a host of nephews and nieces and best friend: Debra Smith.
She was preceded in death by her first husband: J.D. “Bimbo” Goodwin Jr; second husband: Von Roberts; son: Joel Derrick Goodwin; two brothers; one sister and parents: Alvin and Mary McGraw Alexander.
