CULLMAN, Ala. – According to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division, troopers arrested Austin Edward Turrentine, 20, of Cullman at 11:38 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 20,
Turrentine was arrested and charged with reckless murder, reckless manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide.
The arrest is the result of a single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 3:08 a.m. on July 24, 2020 and resulted in the death of 20-year-old passenger, Jesslyn Nicole Hood, of Cullman.
Nothing further is available as ALEA Troopers continue to investigate.
