Mary Ellen Thrasher, age 74, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. She was born on December 28, 1946 to Earl and Delma Hampton. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved flowers and bird watching.

Mrs. Thrasher was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Glenda Jones and brothers: Clyde Hampton and David Hampton.
She is survived by her husband: Larry Thrasher; daughter: Melissa (Monty) Roberts; step-daughters: Kathy (Greg) Burks and Rebecca (Greg) Kimbrough; stepsons: Lance (Susan) Thrasher and Greg Thrasher; sister: Martha (Jim) Schuh; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Mary Ellen Thrasher will be 4:00 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Jones Chapel Cemetery. Pastor Justin Lynch will officiate the service.
