Funeral service for William Henry Worthington, age 92, of Hanceville, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Herron officiating and entombment in Cullman Heritage Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Worthington passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021, at his residence. He was born Thursday, October 11, 1928, to Alonza Paul Worthington and Louise Grund.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Sonny Grund and Willard Worthington.
Survivors include his wife: Angelina Worthington; daughter: Bobbie (Bryant) Carroll; son: William Doyle (Dora Jean) Worthington; eight grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; sisters: Viola Jett and Claira Griffin; brothers: Kingsford Worthington, Herschel Worthington and Alfred (Linda) Grund; beloved caregiver: Melissa Cortez; his baby: Katelin Cortez and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
