Obituary: Bonita “Bonnie” Hall Gorham

Funeral service for Bonita “Bonnie” Hall Gorham, age 85, of Baileyton, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Deborah Moon officiating and burial at Holly Pond Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Gorham passed away peacefully at home on August 17, 2021. She was born on December 27, 1935 to Ramey and Erdie Hall.

She married C.L. Gorham on July 17, 1953 and celebrated 57 years of marriage before his passing. She was a dedicated mother, first and foremost, and she treasured every moment with her family. Bonnie was an avid crafter making quilts, dolls and sock monkeys for her beloved grandchildren among many others. She loved gardening and supplying the community with fresh veggies along with her homemade baked goods. She adored her many friends at the Baileyton Senior Center as well as her church family at Baileyton United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; siblings: Minnie Duke, Bea Estes and Bobby Hall; granddaughter: Stacey Lauren Jones and great-grandson: Carter Wade Jones.

She is survived by her three children: Terry (Donna) Gorham, Sherry (Bill) Jones and Richard (Pam) Gorham and four brothers: Millard (Barbara) Hall, Marston Boyd Hall, J.H. (Pearl) Hall and Billy (JoAnn) Hall. She was a loving grandmother to her five grandchildren: Brooke Gorham, Brandi (Seth) Stanton, Amy (Jim) Krell, Grace Gorham and Jeff Jones. She leaves behind seven great-grandchildren: Suzanna Krell, Isabella Krell, Landon Jones, Caleb Stanton, Nora Jayne Stanton, Griffin Jones and Ella Jane Jones and a host a nieces, nephews and an endless amount of friends.

All whom loved her dearly will never forget her tenacity, wit, charm, grace and undying love for them.
