Cecil Hubert Cook, age 83, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021. Cecil was born April 3, 1938 in Winston County, Alabama.
Cecil is survived by his wife of 63 years, Glenda Smith Cook; his daughter: Kandace Cook; his grandchildren: Jackson (Olivia) Smith, Cassie Taylor, Kayla Goings and his five grea-grandchildren.
Cecil was preceded in death by his parents: William Jonah and Tessie Mae Mize Cook; his sister: Helen Sizemore and his brothers: Glover Cook, Homer Cook, Millard Cook and William Cook.
Cecil served our country in the Army. He loved his hobbies of building bird houses and other furniture.
A celebration of life visitation for Cecil will be held Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Avenue, N.W., Cullman, Alabama 35055. A celebration of life funeral service will occur at 2:00 p.m. An interment to follow at Etha Baptist Church (8417 County Rd 1545, Cullman, Alabama).
