Barry Scott Grimmett, 57, of Jasper, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at his residence.
Scott was preceded in death by his father: Durrell (Ken) Grimmett and grandparents: James and Ira Grimmett and Theodore and Flora Seymore.
He is survived by his wife: Libby Grimmett; mother: Irene Grimmett-McSwain; daughter: Jennifer Hicks (Mitchell); son: Drew Grimmett; grandchildren: Luke, Sam, Walker, Fisher and Annaleigh; brother: James Grimmett (Pam); nephew: Will Grimmett; mother-in-law: Carol Harris; father-in-law: Ronnie Harris (Roz) and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on August 15, 2021 at The Hope House (1602 10th Ave., Jasper, AL).
